Navy ASVAB - Yikes!

My son is a MMN (Maintenance Man Nuke) on a sub. He scored so damn high in the ASVAB, he didn't have to re-test. There are 3 categories where you have to have a high enough score in 2 of those 3. He scored well above that score in all 3. He re-enlisted 8 months ago for a stupid high bonus, then set up his personal arsenal.

My brother was a nuke electrician, when I told him I was looking at joining the Navy all he would say to me was "dont be a nuke". Those guys and gals get worked like slaves.

From my understanding, your GT score was what determined the types of jobs you were eligible for. Not that scoring a 10 or better is good for the military but at least you know a 10 is not going to be a critical skills operator anytime soon.
