I recently bought a 2001 gt that has been coyote swapped, it has the 4r70 trans with the msd trans controller, with a lockout. When doing 40-50 rolls I don’t have to have my lockout turned on… but if I’m anything over 50 and give the car any throttle it tries to go into 4th gear (overdrive) then kicks me out back into third. I understand this is what the lockout is for but when I’m getting up into the higher speeds (with lockout on)I’m running out of rpm and have to let off, I can’t turn off the lockout and the car shift into 4th. So I’m wondering if anyone has had anything like this happen or could help in any way. I can only get up to 115 before having to let off
