I currently have a spec 3+ and it wont hold a drag launch. I have been thinking about getting a RXT but I have a billet steel spec FW.

1. Is the RXT too much clutch for a ported eaton car?
2. Will my Spec FW work? Its steel
3 Should I swap to an aluminum FW?

I can get the repalcement disk for the spec FW for like $80 the aluminum FW Is a lot more.

I have the defunct Fidanza 4.3 now that is working fine; however, will probably go Promotion next for a ported/sprayed Eaton car. Do some searching or call Promotion direct for their recommended setup. It'll save ya a few bills over the RX, not to mention no setup headaches.

I just got my RXT and my car is on a Eaton..mod on my Sig. Why would you think the RXT will be too much for a ported car?

+1 I have a rxt going in this spring, and I only have a 2.8 upper. I plan on a whipple down the road at some point.
