My '01 Cobra is up for sale, but I want to take care of some issues for the next owner before selling/trading in:

The transmission is leaking fluid from the shifter area
I already replaced the oil seal. The leak is coming from where the shifter bolts to the top of the transmission
How does one fix this problem?

Remove and reseal the shifter. Cool

The Keyless entry is not working
I have replaced the battery in the remote. No Joy
What else can I do to trouble shoot this? Is there a fuse I can check?

Follow the reprogramming procedure in the manual. Got it

The interior dash lights are not working
The fuse keeps blowing:

Is this supposed to be a 5 amp fuse?
Do you think replacing the headlight switch will correct the problem?
If not, what do you think I should do next?

This could be the light switch, or audio screwed up. Trouble shoot. ok

The ABS light is almost always on
I have been told this is due to the oversized wheel/tires I am running.
Can this be resolved? If so, how?
If I have to get the ECM recaliibrated, where in the Atlanta Area can I have that done?

The stereo needs to be finished
Does anyone know a reputable audio shop in the Atlanta area that can just help me get the stereo dealt with for a reasonable price?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Is the keyless entry failing to lock AND unlock?

Wife's Park Avenue will always lock, open trunk and panic alarm but the unlock was very unreliable.

Opened up the fob and cleaned off the contacts for the most common used, unlock button. It's like new now.

None of the buttons work. I will definately try cracking it open and cleaning the contacts though. Thanks for the tip.

I doubt cleaning will help if it's all the buttons. Check for power on the battery terminals.

I would be honest about the ABS light with the buyer and leave it as is- he/she may appreciate that

Good luck with the sale
