Aim first and then pull the trigger. I suggest a shotgun though, to get good coverage..:lol1:

I'm assuming you have a DSLR

1. Invest in a tripod..a cheap one will work great, but getting the camera onto something the doesn't move is best. - shoot on timer or by remote.

2. Play with Depth of Field or "Bokeh"

3. Shoot shoot, and shoot some more. Practice is key as is learning the camera.

4. Get it out of Auto (Green box o death), and P. Play on TV(shutter speed) and AV(Fstop) learn how they affect a picture.

5. Assign the focus button to the * button in the settings. Its much easier to press a separate button for focus rather than trying to actuate a pressure switch.

6. Get a set of White Balance cards. It makes a big difference using a custom white balance.

7. Use the focus point and change it so you are using the rule of thirds. It really does help.

GL and happy picture taking =)
