My dealer just called begging me to buy his 09 KR black on black. What is the best price you guys have seen on a new 09? 60,000 was his proposal and giving me 35,000 for mine trade-in. (08 vert with 4000 miles)

I know its a KR..but I have to ask why? The 2011 GT500 with an alum. block is right around the corner and can be had for less money than the KR.

Just my .02.

Not a bad point. $60,000 is a still a lot for a mustang, but not that much more than I paid for mine.

he hasn't sold it yet because he was greedy with markup so i say let him sit on it even longer!

2010 or better 2011 is your best bet as mentioned

Pretty much. What actually happened is he ordered it for a guy in CT. who sent a deposit and then backed out. The guy is suing to get the deposit back but has been unsuccessful thus far. I tried to get him to deduct the deposit amount from the 60,000 price, but no luck yet.

The 2011 GT500 with its alum. block coming in at 100lbs less weight along with getting the car for only in the $50k range sounds like a winner to me over the KR. When he wants to give up the KR for the same price as a 2010 GT500 then maybe I would consider it...until then play your cards close to your vest.

I agree about waiting on the right price. I obviously don't need this car in the garage. Would be nice though:rockon:

You guys seem pretty certain about the 2011 block. All I have heard is rumors:??: I thought the announcement of the new motors wasn't until December.

True, but alot of people still prefer the looks of the 07-09 models.
The KR is one sexy bitch. :coolman:

Very tempting, let the dealer sit for a little longer. They always come down.......by theory, end of the year is the best time to buy!

I'd give my left nut for the 2011 GT500AL!!!!
THe KR.....Meh, not so much!

I also heard a rumor that the 2011 or 2012 rear end was getting changed given all the complaints! Not so sure how true that is.,.....I for one Kinda like the rear end of the new style!

The body will be the same due to the sales of the V6 and GT's till 2013-14 but the motor will be a V8 twin or single turbo in 2011-12 in the GT500, bye bye superchargers !!!

make sure you get the $7500 rebate Ford is giving the dealers on the 09Kr's, they still have room to play

There are 2 dealers in ga with kr's both are 08's and is 1 asking 106 for it LOL, and another is asking 81k, just to give you reference on prices.

Anyway, if you get it you'd prolly have to keep it in the garage because if it was me I wouldnt even be able to drive it without fear or somebody hitting it and shelby hitting my insurance company with his stupid shelby mark up prices for replacement parts.

They may have 2 GT 500's but not KR's. At least not that I know of...I live here, there. Besides I'm not a big fan of the 2010, it's just ok IMO.
