Went to the track last night. Weather was perfect. I was at Bristol Motor speedway. The first pass was made about 20 minutes after getting there.
First pass,
60'----1.836
330----5.303
1/8----8.183
mph---85.22
1000---10.692
1/4-----12.814
mph----106.25

After about an hour cool down and watching the other cars/trucks run.

Second pass
60'-----1.219(thats right)
330----4.725
1/8-----7.621
mph----84.63
1000----10.150
1/4------12.298:pepper:
mph-----104.50

My new best so far. This was on Nitto Drag radials too.

Now, I need to keep driving it like that.

Thankyou! I was like WTF when I saw my time slip... The wife was really happy to see me run that fast. Since we spent alot of money on it last year and didn't get to race it last year.

Ummmm Taz.....Great job buddy and congrats on your new PR, but you didn't run a 1.219 60'. That's a timing error on the part of the drag strip and is not possible with your setup unless you had the car on an aircraft carrier's catapult system........

Just to set the record straight. This was my Lightning. Its on the juice and makes 509rwhp and 718rwtq on a mustang dyno. It was a 75 shot on both runs.

Just FYI cars that can sixty foot in the 1.2s run in the 9s or faster not the 12s, hate to burst your bubble but like said above its a timer error. Why dont you take a look in SVTs timeslip database, it has posted sixty times as well as the 1/4 times they produced and then you will understand

Definitely an error there, with nitto drags it ain't possible. With .6 off of your 60ft you would've been mid 11's. I think about the best i've heard of is a 1.6 on the nittos. Nice times anyways though.

Yeah, sorry man. No 1.2 60'. Its a timing error, it happens. A 1.2 60' would feel like a bomb went off behind your back seat. With your power (on the spray) and weight the best you could probably do is a around a 1.45 in optimal conditions with an optimal setup ($$).

Man 1.2 60ft is unbelievable, that has to be a timing error! Nice runs though bro.

that 60 still is alot off

So What does everyone think the 60' is in the second run. I sure as hell would like to know???? Do you think the 1/4 mile time is even right?

true a 1.2x 60ft is a " drag car time " meaning a 9 or low 10 second car short time ( I thought everyone knew that  ) If you can pull say a 1.5x 60ft with a street L I would say your kicking ass

on the other hand you have a LOT of hp to only trap 104 and 106 in the 1/4 :dw: whats up with that  509/718 on a MUSTANG DYNO....I would think you would trap OVER 110 EASY :read:

great eighth mile time anyway dude :beer:

I agree, the biggest problem I see is that he is only gaining 20-21mph on the big end. It should be quite a bit more.

That is hilarious that you thought it was a legit time. Sorry but you did not cut a 1.2 then run a 7.6 @ 84mph in the 1/8. No doubt it was a timing error.

And furthermore if you are making 510/720 you have some major issues if you are only running mid 12's. Guys making that kind of power are running 1.5 short times and 10 second passes.

Okay Guys, It's got the stock 3.55 gears in the rear. I run it at the track how I drive it on the street. Full weight, just the spare tire removed. I weigh in at 250. The Nitrous tune is set at 13 degrees timing. I race at Bristol Motor speedway. Elevation at track level is right at 1,600 ft above sea level. So who know???

going by what you gained in the 1/4 from your first run to your second run (aprox .5) i would guess your sixty was .3 quicker and would put you in the high 1.5 range. thats my guess and a 1.5 sixty is pretty damn good for your lead sled.

The second pass looks like you staged with the back tires. Was the first pass a good pass? Where they both on the jug?
