Please bear with me on the photo uploads. Ever since photobucket changed everything, I’ve been riding the struggle bus.

What I will say is that the quality of fabrication and finishing is absolutely amazing. The welds are very nice and the powdercoat finish looks great. I do love the red on the car for sure.

Can you post a few pics of the AJE next to the BMR?

My car currently has the AJE.
I didn’t take any right next to each other because I kept discovering more damage on the AJE and it went very quickly to the trash can. Here are some photos though.

How long was it on the car? How many miles did you put on it?
This will be my first season with it. The AJE fit with the turbo kit I'm using.

I have had it on the car since 2005 and put about 40k on it. I used to live a mile from the beach so that could have been part of the problem.

They have probably upped their finish quality since then too.

Looks great man. Nice job! Thanks for posting the photos. Good to know the fit and finish are top notch. I like the banner. Did they send that with the k or was that purchased separately?

I’m very impressed with how it turned out for sure.

Dion at BMR gave me the banner when I picked up the k-member, I live only about an hour away. I guess he felt either bad for me or annoyed with me since I’ve been calling him at least on a weekly basis since November when I originally placed my order haha.

When I found my AJE issue, I called them on a whim because I had just picked up their torque box reinforcement kit and asked if they are ever going to make a k-member for our cars. Apparently, they just got the green light to start fabrication and testing that morning. Good timing I guess.

I’m first on the list for a few more parts for the new edge, but this time they won’t give me an estimated date or tell me what exactly they are making. They just said “i’ll call you when I have parts here for you and you’ll be the first with them” haha.

@SteedaGT, what is the primary use of your car? Is it mostly a street car? I'm kind of tempted to grab a tubular k member at the reduced price and stick it off to the side until I get everything else to install it.

Street/strip car. It sees a lot of street miles here in Florida year round, but it is not my daily driver.

Years ago, this car was my daily driver and I ran the AJE through many potholes and everything else with no issues. I attest the condition of the AJE to living near the ocean and also it’s 15 years old...

I drove the car from Florida to Ohio twice with the AJE on the car without hesitation. For $199, I’d jump all over the standard version k-member while you can. The price is going to go up soon, I would assume on April 1st if I had to guess. If I were a corner carver, I’d pony up and get the premium version in a heartbeat for the price it is currently ($499?, I can’t remember).

The land of commies and socialists!
Had I not already bought an MM k member and A arms I'd be all over the premium unit with a arms and taller ball joints.

I would like to know what changes have been made to the k member to improve handling beyond just higher a arm pivot points though. There's nothing about it on the site.

It's so nice to see companies still supporting out platform though especially when it's someone like BMR. I also like that we have more options for a road race style setup beyond MM and Griggs.

I was definitely going to use the upper to get my control arm geometry correct. I’m not going to weld up all eight unused holes. It will definitely void any warranty should something else go wrong with it. Also, it really should be something that they address. Again, as I see it, it is a week point as well as an issue with the functionality of the control arm bushings. I am no way an expert so if someone can convince me that this is acceptable, I’m listening.
