NO!!! These mufflers were part of the M58 exhaust. If you are looking for loud, these are not the ones!

The FR500 exhaust is M-5230-M58
The "loud" one is M-5230-M55 (I know, since I just sold my M-55!!)

Yes, the "dual-mode" mufflers came on the FR500 (M58) exhaust. Look on the lower right corner of the page from the FRPP catalog I posted above.

These are NOT the loud mufflers. If you sold them on the premise that they are for the loud M55 exhaust, the buyer got hosed (although they still are nice mufflers).

Once again: The FR500 exhaust is the M58, NOT the M55!!!!!

No kidding Einstein, but once again: the FR500 mufflers are for the M58 exhaust, NOT the M55...

I am expecting these to be the quiet, dual mode FR500 (M58) mufflers. That was my take away from the original post as well as from my research on these mufflers over the past few months. I too reviewed the same picture of the ford catalog shown above.
