The only description it gives on this is "Regeneration initiation pull ahead".

Not exactly sure what that means, but it could be an easier (and possibly cheaper) way to delete this system altogether now. 240 dollar option up here.

Anyone with any more info on this? Travis?

OK- I just found out what this is. The driver can initiate the regeneration when it's convienient for them. Pretty cool feature if you ask me. That way it won't start to do it on it's own just before you get home or something.

so does that allow you to delay a scheduled regen or just initiate one early?

Problem on the commercial vehicles (like Mack) is that you could keep delaying it and clog up filters etc...truck would go into limp mode and it was a big chunk of change to fix, not covered under warranty of course.

Good question. Not sure, but I think it's just to initiate early. I'm sure that with this feature, you might be able to delay, but only to a point. Then, it'll probably just go on it's own. Highway usage requires little regen, if any, so it all boils down to driving style and usage.
