I had some issues on brake switch after removing booster,

That tiny white sleeve broke,
Dealer was the only place to find new.

However even with new piece lights wouldn't work,
Installed without white piece it works.

I'm late to thread,,

For rear caliper tool,,
I took a socket the size of piston and grinded it to 2 points .
Push and turn.

Those guide pins ,,I use a drill bit to clean hole than relube.

I found mine have frozen after awhile from cleaning car daily .
South texas dirt roads,

South texas dirt roads,

Thanks

I ordered a new switch. I got underneath the dash after installing the solid steering shaft and attempted to use a flat head to play with the switch but it never worked. I checked fuse #41 and it’s good. Just odd that it would die like that

2 wires.

Lg/red stripe
F2 33 hot at all times.

Red/lg stripe goes to f2 41

When you press brake f2 41 gets power to work lights

Check f2 33 for power

The only strange thing is you did say high mount works.

Which says it's other than switch,,

I'm assuming 33 will be hot with just test light,
41 have no power till pedal is pushed .

When I get home I will look more into harness.

Here wiring diagram section has locations of harness thru car ..

Maybe during work you were near something..or unplugged for room to work ,,

Do you work solo on car?
Helper will sometimes not help

Everything is plugged in, no fuses are blown.

Guess the only thing I can think of is the switch got damaged when I was bleeding the brakes. I was using a Jack handle to wedge and hold the brake pedal down as I was solo bleeding the brakes. I don’t know…

Look at wiring diagram .
From fuse 41
Power splices to rear 3rd brake
90-5

Power goes in multi switch. Than to rear lamps
C265 is at bottom
C202b is in steering column

Get a mighty hand vac,,
Best ever for bleeding brakes solo,.

Was that a fuse in trunk or connection
No its to convert the rear tail lamps to 99-01 Amber Tail Lamps.

I had one of those one time, and it blew up and shot brake fluid in my eye socket. I never shot up so fast in my life. Thought I was going to lose my eye.

oh ffs. I really wish they'd come out with a 3 leg heat shrink splice for this kind stuff. 2 spots to crimp wires on one end and a single out on the other side vs this bullshit.

true but I was also pretty happy with my one man bleeder bottle off amazon for ~$30. Has a magnet to stick to the rotor/caliper and a one way check valve on the hose.

That’s exactly what I use
