See that's exactly what you'll look like after driving an S550 hard around corners or in straight lines. Magnetic suspension is absolutely necessary in the GT350 or else engineers found out the springy IRS would launch the car off the track at mediocre speeds. That's why they added weight to the S550 to keep it from going airborne.

It may be slow but at least it cuts down on tragic accidents. I just don't understand how Ford could release such a dangerous product to the public.

Not to restir a shit storm (ok maybe a little) but why does which is faster really matter? They are going to both offer two completely different driving experiences. The GTR is probably easier to drive closer to its limit but realistically, most people who buy either of these cars aren't going to be driving them to magazine track result setting levels anyways. Drive both (if you can) and see which one you enjoy driving more. It also depends what you look for- do you want value? Then the obvious choice in this case is the GTR given one is marked up and the other down. Driveability? Do you want driving to be a more visceral and engaged experience? Then the GT350R is probably better for that. A point can be made for both vehicles- too many other factors are more important than worrying which is a ****hair (or a few ****hairs) faster than the other. Oh yeah and as stated, **** paying markup to a douche stealership.

I'm assuming you are comparing the GT350R to the 2016 GTR?

Is this really a question? What possible advantages could the GTR be bringing to the table TO JUSTIFY a 50 thousand dollar difference in price? That'd have to be one hell of a discount the dealership has to be offering to bridge that gap. 101 thousand dollar MSRP for a Datsun? No thanks.
