I replaced the clutch in my 03 cobra, and while i was doing it i figured i'd throw in a new TOB (link below). I was sitting in my car and with the radio off, i noticed there was a very faint whirling noise, push in the clutch and you can hear it slow down until it's gone. Is this normal? Or do i get to pull the trans soon?

Are you saying to tighten the cable? My TOB stops chirping when gently resting foot on the clutch pedal

Tob is made to just ride against pressure plate fingers.

Some have modded to pull it back.

A lot of information on here about that. In sticky’s above.

I have my adjuster at trans end.

I just hold fork up against pp than adjust cable to hold it.

What type of quadrant are you using?
Firewall adjuster?

I stayed simple single hook no fire wall to much to play with.
