New True Trak from LFP

Called LFP and ordered the True Trak last Thursday to fix my one wheel peel - they said it would be here today - it just got here as I was told and at a great price.

Doesn't get any better than that.......................epper: epper:

I'm installing it this weekend.

I thought you only needed a shim kit for it?

Nope - most of the time can use the shims already in it or none at all. Did get new bearings to press on though - not good to try to re-use the ones already on the old unit.

Just went ahead and got them from a Ford Parts department - wife works for a dealership, so I got them at a good discount.

You can get them from the Ford parts distributor on this site (SVTP) for a darned good price also.

It's installed now and no 1 wheel peel anymore - install went well except for one of the C-clips didn't want to go in due to the machining of the DTT - we resolved it and now it's all good.

I only get a 1 wheel peel out when i pin it from a stop around a corner, but never from dead straight. Will this get rid of that?

Bird don't forget the axle seals.
I didn't put them in when I did mine. One week later I had the axles back out to replace the leaking seals.
