Well, i haven't waxed the car in months. Last time was Zaino, this time i thought i'd try something new. I've heard good things about Meguiar's new NXT wax, so i picked up a bottle for $14 at AutoZone yesterday. Got up this morning and did the following:

- Washed car w/ MrClean AutoDry
- Dried with the Absorber
- Let sit for about 45 minutes
- Went over with microfiber towel
- Applied Meguiar's NXT wax
- Let sit for about 30 minutes
- Hand-buffed with cotton towel
- Went over with microfiber towel again
- Applied Eagle1 WET tire shine :coolman:

it really depends. i can't really say yet, since it's only been 2 days since i did it. but...

- it's a lot faster and easier to do than Zaino
- practically wipes off, unlike conventional waxes where buffing can get to be a PITA
- i heard durability isn't as good (my Zaino lasted me a while).
- it shines just as well as Zaino
- it's much cheaper than Zaino
- availability is MUCH more widespread

Thanks.

Still love the color. :)

PS you are lucky that you can wash your car at home, here in LV we have to buy a specific pressure washer which is over $100 or take it to the quarter self wash places to do it. :(

I just went out and bought the NXT for my black 2001 Cobra, Killa. I can't wait until it stops raining so I can actually wax the damn thing. :) Your car looks gorgeous, I love that color.
