I've owned Mustangs for quite a few years but this is the first time I've posted on a Forum. I have a question and wondered if someone could help me out. I have a 90 5.0 sedan that is basically stock except for O/R H-Pipe and Dynomax Exhaust. Last week my waterpump went so I have to have it replaced. Since the car has 78,000 I think I should also have the timing chain replaced. I also considered having an E303 cam put in. My questions is...if I put in the cam, is there anything else I need to have done mechanically to the engine, or other parts I need to get. Or can I just put in the cam along with the waterpump and timing chain and have it tuned?
Also, does anyone know of a mechanic who's good with Mustangs in the Easton, PA?
Would anyone know roughly how much the work above would cost? (cam, waterpump and timing chain - without parts)
Thanks, 50 sedan
