I have a NIB Oil Cooler from a 93R. I picked it up a while back and its just been sitting on the shelf. From what I remember it has the adaptor plate included. Whats something like this worth? Anyone interested?

What do you mean by the adapter plate?

These were the same as the 95R and were offered by Ford Racing for quite a while. They went discontinued a couple years ago. I would guess a fair price is probably $100ish unless that plate is 93R specific. That would kick it up considerably.

Snapped some pics last night... anything 93R specific? Performance Parts Inc has one new one listed at $799... Im clearly not looking for that much but Im guessing its worth more than $100.

No offense to PPI but it probably depends on how badly you want to sell the parts. If you aren't in a hurry I'd ask top dollar but don't expect to sell the parts quickly.

Personally I'd be VERY happy if PPI's prices were an indication of market value.

fair enough... if anyone is looking for one, feel free to make an offer. Its just sitting around in my basement. I'd rather see it go to good use.

Well, you have the oil cooler and the block adapter. Don't loose the screw that hold the adapter on--it will be hard to replace.

I belive the item you are looking at on PPI's site is a complete assembly with hoses and brackets.

What is he selling the adapter for?

What PPI sells for the adapter is NOT an original adapter it is close but I did compare my original to his and there were differences.the adapter shown in the pic is for a fullsize police optioned car or atleast one with an oil cooler option maybe tow?oil cooler itself is the least expensive part, the correct brackets, lines, fitting and such is the hard stuff to get and will run into $$$.Stan

Just like his radio delete plate for the 95s.It is close but will not fit the opening correctly.
