Does anyone know the front spoiler clearance, bottom of spoiler to ground? Anyone going to a show, can you get a measurement?

At the opening of the mustang museum there has an orange GT500. While talking to the Ford rep I ask if they are going to announce the information on the 500. He no I than ask about HP has 700++ his response has 700 well into the ++. Than he said did I really say that. I’m not sure what that means however I would think between 770 and 790.

The only reason I would think 755 is because it's only a matter of time until the LT5 ends up in a Camaro, and people are shallow enough to buy off that number alone.

I guessed 737hp a long time ago. I now have a sense Ford has a number they want simply because it sounds cool. Seven hundred ****ing thirty ****ing seven just rolls off the tongue so easily...

749 or less is a no sale for me dog. Call me a superficial but Im not buying at less than 750hp.
If i didn't already have a 350R, I would do it, but i'm not gonna have two S550's if its not over the top (never to get rid of the 350R...noooo way)
Sounds like I'll have more $$ to play with this year! Maybe I'll let it ride on red at the casino:)

My '09 GT500 had 725hp with FRPP's 2.9L Whipple kit and it was an absolute beast in terms of grunt and motivation. The GT350 engine pales in comparison, however high winding it may be. If the 2020 GT500 lays down the smack, like 700++hp cars tend to do, I will in no way cry at at a silly number.

Less than 750 when there are rumors of 900+ coming from FCA on their next latest and greatest will be a hard sell for me. This thing is going to have to perform and do things really well to keep me interested enough to buy. Hoping that this car doesn’t disappoint.

Who knows, after some sub 10.7 runs I see vids of, I may cave to the less than stellar HP level. a lot can happen between now and when HP levels are dropped. I'm not out, until the fat lady sings.

Less than stellar? My friend, the numbers these cars are producing are insane!

I still remember how bad it was in the early eighties when Ford ads stated that "the Boss is back." Yeah, 157hp. And we were excited.

I think the lower curb weight of the shelby + the DCT will make up for the lower HP number

It's as if the GT500 (and the GT350 for that matter) doesn't exist.

Let's get a move on Ford!
