lol seriously. good to know our taxes are being used. no wonder they want us to recycle our bottles so badly, they need them to make those ****ing things. I'm not even that old and when i was a kid, a swing was a 18" piece of flat rubber. what the hell happened?

Exactly, there's usually one of those at every park along with a bunch of good old fashioned swings. Honestly the swings are probably the most dangerous piece of equipment left on playgrounds since the big metal slides, jungle gyms, teeter totters and merry go rounds are all gone.
