There's a high probablility it is real lol. You can read all of the stories and punishments handed down around each service and a lot of them are pretty outrageous. Like meth labs in the barracks and such, but this is the best one I've seen.

When I was stationed in Korea (Kunsan) they not only delivered food but they would also deliver a 6 pack of beer with it, lol. Don't recommend volunteering for an assignment out there though, that place sucked and will lead you to a new level of alcoholism!
