Really? I go to Castle Rock all the time. In the Denver area quite a bit as well. Roads seem good? Then again, i live in Michigan. So any roads are better then MI roads lol

Was through there 2-3 years ago, didn't hold a candle to I-20 through Shreveport. I slowed to 45mph through parts of it.

55 south just across La state line is worse believe it or not. IMO

I promise you I can tell when I cross the state line with my eyes closed.

Actually I think it is from the state line on the north side of Toledo to Detroit. I guess Toledo must be "so much further south" that there is a marked difference in the road when you cross the state line.

I've been on all three coasts highway systems and I don't think anything is worse than the BQE in NYC. There are holes in that highway, right down to the rebar.
