Yeah...I never totally understood why the news took off with it. It's a tragedy for sure, but it's far from the first time people have disappeared under shady circumstances nor will it be the last.

Some couple that had a domestic.
Couple police interactions and reports of him slapping her around.
She never comes home after a road trip they were on. He never reported her missing.
They eventually found her body.
He disappeared and they just found him dead in some nature preserve.
Everything suggests he did it as well as his parents were helping to conceal his location.
