OEM Windshield Source or Alternative?

Hi, I’m looking for an original windshield for my ‘96 and am coming up empty handed. Can’t find any inventory of the DW-1169 with Ford logo.

One possible alternative I see is the pony logo Carlite DW01395 for ‘99-04. I’m assuming this is a direct replacement for SN95s, and only the tint is different?

Any help is much appreciated.

I replaced the windshield on my 95 two years ago and ended up installing the Carlite 99-04 glass with the pony logo. No issues.

yes, the 1395 is what i would use.. be ready to have a new cowl to replace the old one if needed..

I believe it was more common with the 99-04 cars, since they were more flimsy. The 94-98 cowl pieces are more sturdy.

I appreciate all the info and responses. Actually putting a carbon cowl on, and fenders and cowl already off car. Even though the windshield that came on it is crack/chip free, it’s Safelite glass and figured might as well replace with OE Ford (even if wrong year) while it’s apart.
