Got the Ford GT cleaned up and painted the molding around the front windshield area. Added the Ford Emblem and some custom graphics to make it stand out a little more. Then got it clear coated.

Wow, that GT came out spectacular! I'm surprised that you didn't keep it for yourself. Gorgeous paint! Great details!

Thanks Bob! To be honest, I'm not getting much interest on eBay for this one nor the MC Ford GT either. So, I put them in my collection for now. If I do not receive my asking price I "will" keep them. I actually do like both of them a lot LOL.

Okay,

Here is the completed version. Owner asked for me to add a bed cover.

Here is the original truck.

Here is the completed version with added bed cover. I know the wheels are not exact, but they come from a different model year. What do you guys think? I still need to replace the plate. Owner wants something different.

I did the same thing. I put my MC vert up for sale and only got around $136 for it or so. I canceled the purchase and put it up on the shelf with the coupe and the scale Terminator motor. I'd rather keep it than give it away.

The new one is going to be nice. I like the truck bed cover you did. Nice touch to personalize it for the customer.
Thank you Bob! Yeah, that bed cover was a request from the owner. It was also a challenge lol, but I think it definitely gave the model a totally different look.

Just curious if you have a 3D printer to make parts like a truck bed for a 1:18 model. I recently saw a 3D printer thread on SVTP that got me thinking how parts like this could be done. Just wondering.

No sir, I sure don't. If I could design and print my own parts that would open up a whole bunch of possibilities for me.

I have really been wanting to make a replica of my 380R. However, no one makes the front bumper. I have looked into having someone with a 3D printer create one for me, but it didn't pan out.

I have not looked into purchasing a 3D printer, so I have no idea what it cost.

Didn't get a whole lot done this weekend due to watching football LOL.

However, got a SB Coupe polished. The paint on this one came out looking really good.
