Here is the MC Coupe. This is my favorite style. Love the MC with the CCW Classic replicas. I built one similar to this for @Stage 4.6. Always wanted one for my own collection LOL. Guess I better get on building one for myself LOL.

Owner wanted the following:
  • Cobra emblem in grill
  • SVT H/E Stencil
  • Chrome rear bumper letters
  • Custom license plate
  • Rear window simulated limo tint
  • MC Calipers
  • Chrome CCW Classic replicas
  • Car lowered

Thank you Nikk! Yeah when I seen that post I knew I was going to build it. I do like the color, but I'm wondering if those non-metallic colors will be a fad or not. Pretty cool to see different Terminators out there.

I'm getting ready to copy another Terminator I recently seen. Stay tuned...…….

BTW, tracking says your box is waiting for pick up...… Please let me know your thoughts once you get it......

Oh snap! Had to go back a page my bad. Roush looks great buddy, I'm hoping you can find that Roush front bumper sometime soon.

Thanks Will! Yeah, I've been real busy producing these Cobra's and with my side projects, like the Roush and Ceramic grey Cobra, I've been posting at least once a week with pictures of a few cars at a time.

I'm not sure on the Roush bumper. Then I stared thinking that the Roush stage 1, 2 and 3 have a body kit and side exhaust. Don't think I'm ever going to get there...….unfortunately...…………..:(

Okay everyone,

After building 3 MC Cobra's at one time I took this past weekend off from building diecast cars LOL . I'll be starting another build this weekend.

For now someone asked me to post up pics of my current collection. I have 2 more plastic cases on order, but due to the company making plastic face shields they said it would be a little while before they arrive.

So, here is my current collection (I do have more cars coming, which is why I need the other display cases)

My garage wall overall

This is my Terminator collection. I recently added the Spiderman car, Texas HWY Patrol and the Ceramic grey Cobra.

This is my Terminator convertible collection and random "Newer" Mustang collection with an odd ball 66 fastback LOL.

This is my Shelby/GT350/R collection. (Note: The 98 Essex wire car is singed by Carrol Shelby and Rick Kopec (Owner/SAAC President) on the roof).

This is my Fox body collection. (Note: The 2 65 coupes on the top; The red one is a replica of my 65 and the Checkered one is how I would have liked my 65 to look if I could have afforded that paint job LOL).

Glenn, where i can i purchase similar display cases?

Hello Will,

Here are some links:

This is the place I order from as they seam to be the least expensive. However, this is the company that says they are building plastic face shields now, so any display case orders will be delayed.

Model Car Display Case 1/18

This is another company I have used as they have some different styles/sizes.

Display Cases| Display cases for models, Car Display cases, model display cases, Hess truck display cases, diecast display cases

Well, like a lot of us I'm sitting at home and shopping online LOL.

Received 3 cars in the mail yesterday. That Advan Mustang is one of those new resin cars made by GT Spirit. It is an awesome piece. The doors, hood and trunk do not open, but the paint and details on the body are great. The wheels do not roll, but the wheels themselves and the rotors and big brakes are cool. The interior is very detailed too. And that thing weighs a good amount too for a 1/18 scale car.

Here is something I found online for those interested:

Resin model car
  1. Resin casting is used to produce collectible and customized toys and figures like designer toys, garage kits and ball-jointed dolls, as well as scale models, either individual parts or entire models of objects like trains, aircraft or ships. They are generally produced in small quantities, from the tens to a few hundred copies, compared to injection-molded plastic figures which are produced in many thousands. Resin casting is more labor intensive than injection molding, and the soft molds used are worn down by each cast. The low initial investment cost of resin casting means that individual hobbyists can produce small runs for their own use, such as customization, while companies can use it to produce small runs for public sale. Quality of both original masters and resin castings varies due to differences in creator’s skill, as well as casting techniques.
Pros and cons:

Pros:

1.1 The texture is fine and smooth, paint hard to fall off

1.2 Resin can have a better shape, offer tight shut lines

1.3 No zinc pest

Cons:

1.4 door is sealed can not be opened

1.5 Resin models are verry expensive

1.6 much weaker structurally than die-cast zinc-metal

I can't wait to buy more of these resin cars, but diecast cars have way more detail in them overall. Now, if my new display cases would just show up :D.

This came in yesterday.

This one is very popular (and hard to get). I've actually had guys ask me to build them an Azure Blue Mach 1. This will be going in to my collection. Come on display cases LOL.

Got these in yesterday. Still waiting on my new display cases :(…..

Also, I'm still working on my latest SVT Cobra project. Should have it completed this weekend and posted up next week :D…….. Doing this project on my own as no one has requested any builds lately. Getting ready to start my 65 Mustang project next month. So, I probably won't be accepting any more requests any way.

Okay All,

As mentioned I have been working on a project. Ever since @Corbic posted pictures of this car I have been wanting to build it.

If you have not seen the original car here is a link to a website with plenty of pictures:

Mamba 2.0 | Bobby's Grabber Green Cobra | Mustang Fan Club

I tried to match as many details as I could. This would include the following:

  • Flat black supercharger
  • SVT H/E Stencil
  • Gloss black CCW's
  • Grabber green calipers
  • Gloss black rear bumper letters
  • Racing seats
  • Orange shifter ball
  • Tattered flag graphic on roof
  • Cobra in grill

This car is for sale. No one has asked for this build. I did this on my own. If any one knows the owner please let him know about this build. He may get a kick out of it and may want it.
