Every pulley on the front of this car is new. I installed the new double bearing idlers today. Started it up and within two minutes I get this:

May have missed it......but you say front of the car... does that include the inner pulleys?

I changed out every one of my idlers and it ended up being my tensioner.

Easiest way to tell if its the tensioner is to run the car and get a bottle with water and spray it a couple of times. If it stops squeaking, its the tensioner.

The clutch and tob are a year old. I also did a steel retainer while it was out. I thought it was the tob originally because when you touch the pedal the noise gets faster. But if I go under the car while running you can tell it’s coming from the front of the motor.

It doesn’t make the noise when the blower belt is off. If I spray water on it when running the noise gets louder. I mean absolutely hellacious. Could it be the blower?

No. It’s the belt. Whether some sort of alignment issue is causing it is unknown, but the noise is coming from your belt.

Did you take care to only spray one belt to see where the noise is coming from?

Either way, it’s a 3min job to flip the blower belt.

Take it off and flip it so the letters/numbers are facing opposite of what they are now.

I flipped it and the noise came back. Took a few days though. And that’s why I can’t track it down. Anytime I touch something the noise doesn’t come back for a few days. It’s hit and miss
