I seen one of these awhile back and i cant find it now. it may have been a year or so back. everyone post up their favorite old movies because i havent seen alot of them and i cant remember which ones! you know smokey and the bandit and all those.

watched the born losers, and white lightning the other night. great movies. sucks that todays movies arent what they used to be.

Excellent list there. Haven't seen them all yet but based on the remainder of your list, I'll make it a point to do so. Always liked Hitchcock but only recently discovered Lang and Murnau.

Dapper looking cowboys have their appeal and did so when I was a kid but I find them more comical these days. I picture the old west as gritty and have far greater appreciation for the "Spaghetti" westerns. Don't discount them for that reason. There are a lot of classics that merit watching.

You might check out El Dorado, The Sons of Katie Elder, and True Grit to name a few.
