MPR (not MMR) gave me a quote of $5400. That's with all new parts and a crank. I havnt heard anything bad about MPR yet
Where are they located?
Heard bad things about MMR?
I want to do this for $6k and a 1 month turnaround...

That isn't that expensive when you consider the cost of the parts needed.I got my quote back today to forge the bottom end....
Keeping my crank, not doing anything to the heads on a completely undamaged, perfectly running engine...
$8k
That is rods, pistons, gaskets, billet oil pump gears, ARP bolts and balancing.
Add $2k to sleeve the block.
That is also NOT them removing the engine, trans etc. Just bring the engine to them and 4 months later pick it up....
More than I thought... you guys?

This sounds awfully familiar to my 03 cobra days..... 2 engines later and let'r rip tater chip.
Manuel. Buy something you don't really want to mess with. Not worth the headaches.
Thanks for the advise Joe, planning to do simple bolt-ons, tune, full exhaust, drop in filters, intercoolers and some diverter valves, that should get me to around 650-660 to all fours, so with a lighter car and the PDK...it should be a monster ;-)
Hopefully a 2013 997TT.Which car did you decide to go with?
