I've been going back and forth with the idea of polishing my exhaust or not. Since my rims are chrome I figured I'd give it shot and see how it turns out. Here are the results so far:

Looks good dude keep it up. My wheels are black but the polished catback is a must on any style color/wheel combo.

It's almost finished. I can still see scratches on the drivers side from the 1000 grit so I'm going to hit it again with 1500 then 2000.

It's looking really good. Yeah, seeing that the pipes are so visible from the rear, polishing them makes a lot of sense. A bit of work, but well worth it IMO.

Exhaust looks good man. What did you use to do your expansion tank? My expansion tank looks like crap from over the years

Exhaust looks good man. What did you use to do your expansion tank? My expansion tank looks like crap from over the years

On the left side I used 1000-2000 grit sand paper and soapy water. I then used Mother's Mag polish. I think I may have actually dulled the finish by wet-sanding.
