Been messing around with wiring for days, and i see no way possible to mount the dash or even wire it in. So change of plans, im going to have to install new heater core and pull all the wiring for the cab to make room for the new super duty harness. They run whats called a "smart box" should make things easier in the long run. But only time will tell.

Got a huge score at the salvage yard today, picked up 4 captains chairs out of 08-10 super dutys, power telescoping/folding and heated mirrors, 09 heater core, and more wiring than i know what to do with

Snow finally melted and I finally started up work again (pools). I'm currently trying to run through all the wiring, and whats got me stuck is, I can't make any of the HVAC stuff work with the 2000's heater core, or the mechanical gauges and shift lever. I'm thinking I can retro fit the controls for the core, use the old column for now, and just make my own gauges and overlay them on the 08-10 face plate. Thoughts or suggestions?

Arent all of the HVAC controls from the 00 all vacuum operated and the majority of them from the 08-10 electrical? And as for the gauge cluster im not sure if the PCM and the IC will read each other through the networks due to the huge change in the PCMs throughout the years. Sorry just read the first page and last page so not sure what all your working with but just from the pics ive seen and with what I work on day in and day out. You might be able to use the pigtails from the 08 cluster and splice it into the 00 wiring harness and it might work. Key word is might. Good luck man!
