My '07 SVT SHELBY GT500 was ordered in March of 2005 one week before it's debut at the New York Auto Show. When we wrote the order, the dealer had no clue what the car was. :-D

She was built the week of June 26th 2006. The car was delivered to the dealer on August 16th 2006 and I picked it up the same day!

Ordered mine 1st qtr of '05, received it in Dec '06. Same story, they didn't have a clue what I was talking about, but took my deposit. And a what a great experience and dealership it turned out to be.
