I thought the other poll was a little confusing.

Do you like the looks of the 05 Mustang?

I'm not such a big fan of it. The fog lights look riduclous and ruin the front end as far as I'm concerned. I'm 26 btw.

Fugly in my opinion, I hope the new cobras look cool tho. Terminators are prolly gonna be the shiiit for quite some time tho, only thing bad I've seen is some of the paint issues.

Overall no. The only thing I like are [go go flamesuit!] the foglights in the grill. Completely hate the interior.

I didn't vote because it does nothing for me one way or the other.
Still waiting to see what the real convertible looks like. If they add 250hp to the new Cobra then I'd probably buy one.

I like it. i think it has potential to start and become something better once they get better rims, hood, bumpers. the interior is comfortable it just needs alot of work outside. maybe the cobra will make or brake that new body, just have to wait and see 06,07,08.... or when ever the hell ford decides to release the cobra.

As far as looks department lower it a bit and put some rims on it with a lip... the white 05 that had a special on tv looked mean I thought.. but on the dealer lot no thanks.. I give the interior props, especially a white exterior and red leather interior ooooohh!!!

I voted no. Not only do I not like the styling, but I think trying to make any new car look retro is lame. I knew whoever at ford that was styling the rest of their retro crap would eventually get ahold of the mustang though.

I wonder how well dell would do if they made their new pc's look like commadore 64's :bash:

I just sat in a new Mustang about an hour ago. And the interior is sweeeet. Nice short shifter, the seat sits low in the car like my old C5. When you are in the car, "you are in the car". Seats were real comfortable.

Put some 18" on it, lower it a little, add a 5.4 450hp up front, and yeah I'd take one in red!

BTW my next car will probably be a C6, 06, Z06. 666 lol...... the next Z06 is going to be the Shizzzzoul !!!!!!!

I love the '05! I finally got to sit in one and inspect it up close tonight and am very impressed. I must admit that I wished they had made it look like the concept, like the hood especially, but after finally seeing it in person, niiiice!. Still begging for a hood scoop or something though. I think that this is a controversial enough design that certain people will have to see it in certain different ways like, in person , colors , things like that. I was and still am not the biggest fan of sn-95's but occasionally see one that catches my eye, like a clean 97-98 Cobra. I myself am waiting for the Cobra. Having owned an SVO, I'm no stranger to the 'different look' thing. Plus, I like the neat limited production stuff, the Cobra being what i've always wanted. All in all, I love the '05, except the tires, and think it just needs some time to prove it's self. Just look at all the photo shops for the potential of this car.

The best looking post 95 Mustang yet. Ford finally got the design right. I hope they keep going in this direction so we can loose some of the people hung up on the SN95 and New Edge look. Be great to clear the forum out a bit and make room for those who understand the true Mustang design heritage.
