poor idle?

today my car started idling very poorly. it will drop down to about 500rpms then up to 1000 and repeat until i give it gas. any ideas on what the problem is?

i did drive through a big puddle today and it started shortly after so i am thinking something got wet that shouldn't have but i dunno yet.

Check the FRPS and vac lines

Perhaps check your filter and mass air meter. Do you have a filter they hangs down in the fender?

no my intake is factory but the person before me cut the plastic housing off.

what is the FRPS

Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor:

Do a search and read up on it a little. There is also a diagram somewhere around here. The car will idle stupid if it is blown or bad.

Check all the hoses coming from the back of the blower.. Make sure they are connected and put a hose clamp on them for protection too
