The Ford Mustang Mach 1 Will Return In 2021: Rumor
Isn't Mach E enough?
No! Not cool!
I would assume the voodoo in a PP2. What'll be reality is a Mach-E with a shaker hood
Just imagine the confusion with Mustang Mach-1 and Mustang Mach-E models, with totally different designs (coupe and SUV/Crossover).
I'd love to see 500/450 n/a out of this thing with a true shaker.
What's this 2005? 500 hp, Pfft! I want 600hp with 9,000 rpm.
In reality this Mach 1 will be a hydrid with 2.3 ecoboost. Possibly with 2015 head lamps.
What about a 650hp 5-6psi 1.9L TVS 5.0 manual or auto in the 55-70k Range with more of a street strip goal ala hellcat?
Makes far more business sense than shoehorning another na handling setup between or above:
If they essentially build a 7L (5.2+1.9) then it’s even nostalgic. ~429ci (430ci).
It just makes sense like most of the conspiracy theories I subject everyone to.
It could just end up being a sticker, scoop and decal package on a pp2 with 500hp... I would cry a little and sleep uneasily.
They have quite a few V8 options to work with...
But, I'll be fine with whatever as long as it's not missing two cylinders and it's not fully electric.
I'd be happy and a potential buyer if it was an NA predator motor and a tremec 6070.
I'll just wait on a GT500-E version of the Mustang Mach-E....
Rumor has it that Elon Musk has already promised a tug-of-war between it and a Tesla Truck Ludicrous version....
No way it gets that crank.
It might get a 5.2 but I think that would be surprising as well.
A 5.2 CPC with the a10 would be a decent strip car.
Bullit with shaker hood/wing and Mach-1 badges....that is all.
Electric shaker hood intake for the AC system bwahahahaha
Hopefully it comes out right
We had the Taurus and Taurus X before. Along with the 2004 F-150 thing where you had 2 different F-150s made.
That's the pic they went with in the story over a '69? Pffft.
From what I'm hearing it's supposed to take over for the bullitt which makes sense since historically the production hasn't lasted longer than 2 years in each chassis. Proposition 1 would be a n/a 5.2 cpc gen 3 5.2 block with 93 mm stroke. Hypereutectic pistons and 5.933 legnth sinterforged rods. Heads would be modified gt350, gt500 or cnc ported 18+ coyote heads with direct and port injection style with 38.3 intake diameter intake valves. Imrcs and a modified gt350 intake. Transmission options would include an 6 or 7 speed manual and 10 speed auto. 3.73 or 4.11 axle ratio option for manual and 3.55 for auto. Proposition 2 would be a 428 cj, 4.13 bore and 3.98 stroke. Forged 4032 pistons, 4340 forged i beams and 4340 crank. 356 cast aluminum heads cnc ported for max airflow and intake to accommodate the shaker.

The e has made a mockery out of the entire mustang lineup! They just tarnished the one car that they could sell. Damn Ford!
