Curious how much weight it adds if any. What is cool is that red cobra in the seat. It is so hard to find a shop that would work custom embroidery to make mine red

Glass tops add about 70lbs of weight to the car. The glass is thick and heavy for safety of course!

There was a discussion when the 2011 came out on another site, as to how much weight the glass roof added. I seem to remember 28 being thrown around..

Adds a lot of weight .....to scoring with the judges and spectators.
Thats a good question though maybe someone knows.

I was gonna say buy a new pair of seat covers with the RED SNAKE but than those would have red stripes in the seat as well.

I thought it was around 70lbs but could be mistaken. Its a big, thick piece of glass but solid as hell.

Glass roof added 22# but the car was actually stiffer as the glass roof is fixed and stronger than the aluminum roof.
I think the roof is aluminum like the hood.
