Even if it ends up being 6-8 weeks, the finished motor will be well worth the wait. Keep us posted.

I was told something like “next week Tim will be sleeving motors.” Lol. I’m pretty sure that I could get a more definitive answer if I really had to know. Some guys are saying it could take 6 to 8 weeks.
Sleeving a motor correctly isn't something you wanna rush. I watch Rob at the shop do it, it's quite fascinating. He likes to put them in the fridge freezer the night before, does 1 bank one day and the other the next.

Looking real good. Darton Sleeves, Manley billet rods, custom Diamond piston. Ported heads and valve job. Built by MPR.

The motor is back at PBH and will be installed soon. Can’t wait see what she lays down on the dyno.

As usual, Power by the Hour continues to impress me, and The new guy Christian is smart, thorough, and has a real nice way with customers. MPR was also very professional, and they delivered the motor on time. Tim and his wife run a real smooth operation. Anyway... I'll keep you all posted when the dyno numbers are in. I picked up 15 and 19 psi pulleys. Car is on E85, Kenne Bell 168 throttle body, JLT Super Big 148 mm cold air, and American Racing headers.

Fox body, with twin turbos "thinking about going with Precision" The engine has Diamond flat top pistons, Manley I beam rods, ARP windage tray. Manley SS valves, Comp turbo Cams, billet pump gears. The total cost was over 15k and I supplied the 4.6 engine complete.

I don't right now. The car came from down your way. It is called the "Joker" and PBH did allot of work on the car before it came up here and dropped a cylinder. The car is heading back down there for the build and will probably be tested at the West Palm track.
Tell me about your build.

It had a 2.3 Roush on the Gen 1 motor making 680/590. When I get it back from PBH it’ll have a sleeved motor, Custom Diamond pistons, and Manley billet rods. Tim ported the heads and did a valve job. Dude down the street broke the MT82 power shifting so it has a T56 Magnum (2.97) with 3.73.

I had MPR build my coyote short block and freshen up my heads. Basic Manley rods pistons no sleeves. Tim was great to deal with! I would use them again in a second.

About how much did that run you, if you dont mind me asking. Ill be looking for a short block before soon & would rather just send mine to get done.

Well my stock block was shot due to a spun bearing. So block, boss crank and Manley rods and pistons was $ 5500. That was a assembled short block. If you can use your own block I think it would be $4200-4500. Tim is reall a cool guy, i asked a bunch of questions and he was always really nice.
