Hey man i just saw this thread! Great work. I have also performed this swap and we did alot of the same things. Do have some questions i would like to ask. And i have a couple things i worked out that you didnt. I can tell you how to fix the abs problems . I am curious to see your completed door panel and window motor function. I figured that out as well. 7062942756

The way that I did the IRS install was a different way that Another forum member did it. I have since gone back to the way I did it the first time because the way I did it on the coyote coupe has its problems when it comes time to reinstalling the subframe.

Stumbled across this after seeing pics of the car on facebook and had to go find the build for it, this thing is amazing!

I've got a question about your IRS/Wheel combo as I've got an 04 IRS on my 92 notch and finding wheels that fit right seems to be the hardest part. It looks like you have the SVE Drift wheels which are what I want but what size did you go with and is there any rubbing? I currently have some 18x9 +45 offset wheels with a 275/35/18 on there and it fits perfect without rubbing but they don't make the Drift wheels in that size/offset. Any info you can share on that would be awesome!

Well it just a matter of splicing the wires from the 94-04 abs sensors to the new wire harness. It’s not polarity sensitive, but you can wire it the same way with the help of wiring diagram from Ford.

It is getting harder to find same set wheels with 05+ & 94-04 offsets. You can go with custome wheels, but will go for more money.
I’m actually in the process of making my own rear IRS mounts so I can modify the rear subframe on the IRS to be more inboard for clearance for 10” wide in the back.
The other thing is to modify the rear wheel flares which is something I’m thinking of doing as well, but a lot more work in my opinion. Bodywork isn’t my thing. Welding and fabricating is.

Can you tell me if you ran the 18x9 or 18x10 in the rear there and what size tires? Was there any rubbing? To be clear I already have a notch with an IRS and 18x9 with a 275 and no rubbing but I want the drift wheels if they fit without rubbing? I've got the MM low profile bolts and rolled fenders as well.

Took me a couple weeks to find the right buyer.
Next build maybe my last mustang build I do for myself. Plans are to to a GT500 power 93 Cobra clone.
But it depends if someone buys my registered and driving Gt500 parts car.

This week we Embark on a 1999 Ford Mustang Cobra (R clone) project. Delivery of a 2018 Ford Mustang GT, complete takeout package is due to arrive Thursday from MidWayMustang.

Any chance we can get you to consult with us for the wiring? We are confident in all of the mechanical swap items, but passing CARB Referee and doing all the wiring is a little outside our skill set and I will be looking for assistance with this aspect of the build.

PM for email address if you are available to discuss.
