I have been slowly getting my car ready for big turbo power and I it is almost complete. Just a quick background of my car since I bought it new off the lot. It is a 2011 performance white GT premium with 6spd manual and 3.31 rear gear. First thing I did after purchasing the car was take it to the track the very next week to see if I could run a 12 second pass on a 100% factory stock car. First pass was a 12.85@110mph. I was happy so I parked it, I then decided to get some MT 26x11.5 et streets to see what it would do with some "hook". I barely grabbed an 11 second pass with an 11.99@110mph(better air allowed me to maintain my mph). Now that the 11's were out of the way, I wanted 10's, so I bought a sct programmer and pieced together some nitrous stuff that some local friends had and ran it all of the 2011 season and after some tweaking, it ended up running a 10.93@123mph with the same MT tires, a programmer using the strategy tune, and a single nozzle with a 150 shot. That was the only mods. PERIOD. I was wanting more so I decided it was time for turbos. that was an obvious choice to me since turbos is all I have dealt with for over the last 10 years. While collecting parts, I decided to get an actual tune on the car to see what it would do on tires and tune only. Went with a BBR tune and it ran 11.79@114mph. Remember this car is still 100% stock besides the tires and tune so I was pretty satisfied with those numbers. Now to the good stuff. The build. My goals are to put down 1000rwhp on the dyno, run 9.5 at 150+mph or faster with a stick car, and run 200mph at a mile event, all while keeping all the factory comforts. Here are the parts. Most everything was bought from JPC except the rotating assembly was purchased from MMR and fuel injectors from Beefcake. I highly recommend All 3 vendors.

I broke the spider gears in the stock rear diff a few months ago so I have recently purchased and installed this on my car.

http://www.lethalperformance.com/2011-2 ... e-kit.html

The plan is to get the twinturbo50.com kit from Lund racing/Power by the hour installed within the next month or so when it gets released. If for some reason, the kit does not make it, I am looking at the JPC kit as a secondary choice. I still have a couple parts to get before then so more to come..............

Thanks man. I actually didnt have littles. Just the back tires and stock fronts on the 11.79 pass.
nice looking build
Thanks man.

Good luck waiting for the lund TT kit. It wont be out for a long time!
Why do you think that? I have been very patient( been on the list since day 1) and was told by them last month, the manifolds were done and they just had to do some final testing and would likely be shipping next month.

In my area, I am out numbered by LS guys 20:1 so the plates really get their attention. lol. I organized a street car class at the track 3 years ago and there are some pretty nasty street cars I have to compete against. I dont know if you guys have heard of the infamous "crusty nove" but he is a local guy that runs in that street car class. If you havent heard of him, you should google "crusty nove". Car is plain nasty but I would love to show him my tail lights at least once next year.

What an awesome build, please keep us posted as you progress!
Thanks man. I will definately keep everyone updated. It has been killing me watching all these stock motor turbo builds and nobody gets to see these turbo set ups really stretch their legs.

Yes sir. No weight reduction other than the back wheels and spare tire taken out.

Nice, that's got to be a record! I've never seen or read about a stock tune car squeaking in the 11's with just rear tires...congrats on that.

Car will be a beast when it's done for sure!
