Well, for some damn reason I just cannot seem to stop with this thing.


The engine is going in on Thursday and for some damn reason I decided to do a little more work "while I was in there".










Started with this yesterday morning:

Ended up with this today:

It's not 100% show quality but, it is just what I was looking for. There can't be that many L's out there with fully painted engine compartments.

Man, I must be scaring old ladies and little kids because I have been walking around with a chubby all week about getting this thing done and all back together.

looks great eric! while you had it apart you shoulda welded up and smoothed everything out and hidden the wires... ok so maybe by next summer it will be back together now that the idea is in your head
