Here are some pics about a Lightning my friend Karsten bought. (that is the guy who is my technical asset!!)

This truck had a accident in late 2007 and was like it was for a few months.

Karsten bought the Lightning and now there is some work to get this baby ready for the svtmeet in may in germany.

A new frame and all the parts have been delivered.

Its just the work that has to be finished now.

Some weekends will go but each minute will it be worth to get that beauty on the road again....

Here are the pics....

Looks about as labor involved as you were telling me about.

You know if you need anything for it, just ask and it's yours.

Hope you guys can get it completed in time for SVTMeet.

???????
I would have just took it to a shop and get the frame straightened and it would have been as good as new and way less work.. But nice build.

The frame moved in different directions and was very out of place, not just a little displacement.
For a high powered vehicle, especially if used on higher speeds, the frame should be in perfect 100% condition.
Thats why there is a new frame for this Lightning.

Hi Andre!

The pics from the accident looks not fine! But if it´s just metal damaged and nobody was hurt it´s not so bad!

How was the name of the other white Lightning owner that was in Bottrop too? I have confused him and his truck with this story!

I " drück alle meine Daumen " that everything is ready to rock in may 09 at the svtmeet for Karstens truck!!

I'd say good luck but knowing Karsten and the quality of his work, I'm sure this will be better than new when it is finished.
