Quad Tip Bumper Mod Help

Hello everyone, I am a long time reader/stalker and first time poster. I've decided to go with the quad tip exhaust mod and I'm asking of those who have done this, how did you go about cutting out the rear bumper to accommodate the tips? I have an idea about how I'm going to tackle it, but any insight/tips from those who have forged this river would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

My only advice is to get a GT or aftermarket to cut instead. A good/excellent cobra rear bumper goes for a pretty penny.

Ditto- some people think the lower part of the bumper is replaceable but its not. The bumper is all one piece so you cut it you runt is.

I've seen a couple Cobras with quad tips around here. It just doesn't look right to me.
