I looked at a GT350 with the leather sport seats that have all the normal electric full adjustments. I know the Recaro's are manual, but I was wondering what adjustments there were to the seat bottom other than forward & back? Is their an angle adjustment & height? I'm pretty sure there is no lumbar adjustment either, correct? I'm asking because I have a majorly screwed up lower back (3 operations & a fusion so far) that makes it tough to get comfortable on a seat with limited adjustments.

    Thanks for any input.

Angle adjust and fore/aft are it. If you have a bad back and need more adjustment than that I'd consider the non-Recaro seats.

Thanks, I thought that was the case, but I wasn't sure.

Adjustability is the main reason I rejected the Recaros. Besides, the new "standard" non-Recaro seats have much better bolstering than past designs, and they're easier to get in and out of than the Recaros.

The Recaros in the R have height adjustment but no angle adjustment for the seat bottom.

I did do that & they felt good for the few minutes I was in them, but I know it could be a whole different story when driving for a while. Thanks for the answers from everyone.

Managed to find a GT350 on the showroom floor at dealership in Lanham, MD. Very glad I was able to try out the Recaros. I am 6' and weigh 220lbs. I fit in the Recaros on my '12 Boss 302 just fine. I might even go as far as to say they are comfortable. Different story with the GT350 Recaros. Seat back was on the tight side but ok. It was the bolstering on the seat bottom that did me in. The seat is too narrow / I am too "wide"....take your pick....either way...... it appears I need to go with the non-Recaro option.

Rob , I found the same thing. I almost bought a used '16 track pack, but was very uneasy about the Recaro bottom seat bolsters. Anything over a 10 min drive and my outer thighs would have been sore as hell. I can tell you this though the convenience pack seats are very nice and offer more support than many think. I can suffer through them on track days, lol.

I'm 6' 215lbs (I also like horses and long walks on the beach at sunset). I had Recaros in my GT500 and they were definitely more "accomodating" than those in my Track Pack GT350. I made a 14 hour jaunt to Georgia and felt like I just escaped a Turkish prison upon arrival. The seats are great for performance but not the best if you are looking for comfort on a lengthy trip. Regardless, I would choose them again in a heartbeat. Not because I'm a glutton but rather because they are a damn good seat.

OP, I had the experience you suspect would happen. On the long drive from picking mine up, my outer thighs were crying. However, either I've lost some weight (doubtful), or the seat bottom has actually stretched open a little. They don't hurt as badly as that first trip. Another trick is to have NOTHING in your pockets when driving. That helps the comfort a lot.

One size does not fit all. I've seen GT350 Recaro owners offering to swap for non-Recaro seats, and non-Recaro owners offering to trade for Recaros.

The Recaros are great seats, but I couldn't live with them as a daily driver and having occasional wife-transport needs.

I had a 2015 gt with recaros and I freakin' hated them. My 2017 gt350 has the regular seats and they are awesome. Each to their own though
