I don't have a cobra, but do have a big twin screw like many of you here.

I'm trying to minimize as much noise from the car as possible because I live in California and have already made the car much louder than stock.

Now my 2.8H makes quite a bit of noise at idle with my RAI (a sucking type noise) coming from the air filter.

Would having a cold air intake in the fender make it less noticeable or am I just paranoid at this point? lol

i would think so .. i would think that with the filter being in the fender it would make less of a sucking noise compared to a filter near the crack between the fender and the hood where noise comes out ... also a rai makes a blower sound louder .. so only makes sense to believe it would quiet it down some

I have a 2.3 Whipple along with a JLT high-boost CAI and my car sounds like it has a centrifugal supercharger when it's at idle...
