I stand corrected. ****in internet.I saw this on Facebook. Said it was a 1965 model and that the 1972 date was when this sticker was reprinted. I think that is right since I don't think you could get a 425hp Corvette in 1972.

Most times when agitated a beaver will slap the water with its tail. Buddy hooked one when we were fishing in the valley. Tugged us around in an 8' skiff. Until he cut the line.King went chasing after this guy earlier today while playing in the river. I thought it was an Otter at first which had me worried and chasing after him as he was trying to cross the river to get it. King probably would have gotten smoked had it been a River Otter, but it was just a big harry Beaver after a second look. Can anyone confirm? I read that you can tell a Beaver and because their head and back are all exposed while in the water and swim in straight lines which this one was. I think Otters only have their heads exposed when swimming.
Had to zoom in far to see it and King was yanking me around so photos are kind of blurry.

Could be beaver, but usually there will be evidence of them nearby. Dam or structure. Did you see anything like that?

That (based on photato) appears to be a beaver.
Beaver could **** up a dog with those chompers, I’d try to prevent that interaction from happening as well.
Otters are shaped much differently, and they move significantly smoother (in and out of water) than a beaver.

Otters are long and slender. The images you posted definitely weren’t otters or muskrats.
I knew that was coming. He lobbed that pitch right over the plate and you sent it.^^^

I was gonna ask if he's never been to a tittie bar.
Any story on the one that's chomped in half?Did a 12 hour charter out of Port A yesterday with a few other guys. Had a decent day considering we spent a lot of time hunting kingfish.
I'll take a few of those Reds.Did a 12 hour charter out of Port A yesterday with a few other guys. Had a decent day considering we spent a lot of time hunting kingfish.
My guess is Barracuda. It's happened to us bringing up big groupers and stuff. I remember quite a while back, we were out about a 100 miles, and my dad was bring up a monster grouper and all of a sudden just dead weight. Whole fish was gone from the gills back. I bet it weighted 25-30lbs based on the head. You could see them flashing in the water because it's so clear out that far.Any story on the one that's chomped in half?
We were dealing with quite a few sharks in the area. Not sure which one got the kingfish but we had a hammerhead hanging out and lots of sandbar sharks. I pulled up a couple of half snappers and hooked at least 3 sandbar sharks that we had to cut loose.Any story on the one that's chomped in half?
Those reds are so damn good. We are probably gonna cook a bunch of them at the station today. We are gonna do the same trip next month so we don’t have to ration this batch.I'll take a few of those Reds.
