Got my first summons for jury duty last month.
Wednesday was jury selection.
Got picked.
Started trial late Wednesday afternoon.
Concluded today around 12:30.
Deliberated for ~3+ hours.
Convicted.
Will share more details later.

Welp, I took on a new role at my company. Official today. Fun times. Been here for 25 years. Moving from VP of a particular vertical market to VP of company. Roughly three times the responsibility for only twice the pay!! lol. We haven't covered variable compensation yet. This is just the first move in the next couple of years. We have one more executive who is nearing retirement. Gotta play my cards right!!
