real test against 5.0

There are some posters on here who own 5.0's that complain about cobras talking smack to them(not going to list user names). When in reality stock for stock and mod for mod the winner is clear.

I was at the track one day and there was an 03/04 Cobra and a 2012 5.0 there. They went there together and the owner of the 5.0 was making passes in both cars. He was 1 tenth 1 mph faster with the Cobra than with the 5.0. Both cars were FACTORY stock.

My 2011 GT had a set of drag radials, and a tune. It ran 12 flat @ 115mph.

My buddy's 03 Vert had a ported blower @ 15-16psi, tune, long tubes, exhaust, and a set of drag radials. It ran 11.90's @ 115-116mph. Stock for stock, it's not even close.

My 11 5.0 went 12.50's with nothing more than a set of drag radials.

They aren't even close stock for stock? Are you sure you weren't racing 03/04 2 valve GTs LMAO

Stock for stock absolutely but having F/I greatly helps you mods...I think that is what he was saying..
