I have noticed that i have ALOT more rear bake dust on my wheels than on the front. Is this just me? Or is everyone else seeing the same thing. I know that they are using different pads in the rear this year.

I only have 300 miles on the car and I noticed that the brake dust even gets on the rear panels behind the wheels. Hopefully as it breaks in, it will lessen otherwise I'll replace the pads with something better.

It is mentioned as being a "new compound" in the SVT description.

I find even 30mi to work will have newly cleaned wheels dirty while the fronts look fine.

Definetly don't like the dirt but they stop good so far.

yeh, all my wheels look "carbon black" from all the damn dust.... I have gone really easy on them but I had to get on them good the other day cause someone pulled out in front of me and it glazed up the front rotors up front.....Face it guys,, no matter what "new" stuff is put on these cars as far as brakes nothing beats a good set of slotted or cross drilled rotors:beer:
