It's just a stamped piece of metal, you could probably find a machine shop that could make one. You'd have to sell the car pretty cheap with a broken part that isn't made anymore.

I was thinking maybe something like what is used on my audi/VW swaybar would work for you...

looking at Meyle 1J0 498 314 GMY

Also Dodge part looks like a possibility: Dorman 928-306, 928-327

Ford probably used an existing part that they could source from somewhere.

I bet Bruce at FTBR knows where to get the equivalent replacement.
I'd contact him or ask him to post in this thread

can't I just get a sway bar kit like this to replace
it? https://www.amazon.com/Belltech-997...r=1-4&ymm=1999:ford:mustang&keywords=sway+bar

The kits don't usually come with bushing brackets.

The Meyle part is for a 23mm sway bar..I bet it will work for your 25mm sway bar...with the correct 26mm bushings.

The bracket itself looks very much like the Ford OEM part to me...where one end hooks into the IRS cradle and the other bolts down on the bushing.

IMO It's worth $20 or less to find out....

yup..use it to test fit..
If it fits good,..Then maybe get new ones...or stay with the originals..depending on their condition..up to you.
I like prothane/energy suspension poly.
FTBR recommends ford rubber ones.

Hope it fits !!!
You have the other bracket to compare to as well.
I'll keep looking as well..it's one of my hobbies in a way...

Want ad on FB forums or here or the corral if you haven't already. Lots of ppl have IRS spare parts lying around it seems. I dunno... the IRS is FAR superior to the SRA for anything but straight up 1/4 racing. I have a 99 IRS in my 00 GT with an 03 center brace with the FTBR kit.

Shit..sorry...
Maybe try the classifieds as mentioned above.
Maybe see a machine shop or CNC shop.....

The older Thunderbirds had an IRS..or the more closely related to our IRS .... the Lincoln MK VIII might use a shared part..

and contact FTBR..Bruce may know where to find them

no worries, the dorman part you also mentioned looks VERY similar to the bracket styling for the rear, I ordered that hoping it fits.
