I know the manual says that these are throw away items, but is this more of a cover your ass measure or are they really toast after assembly? I ordered new pan hard bar bolts and nuts. Took over 2 weeks to get them

Ford uses a lot of light weight fasteners that probably shouldn't be torqued to spec more than a couple of times. Any of the factory fasteners can be replaced by 8.8 and 10.9 grade fasteners of similar diameter and length and used indefinitely.

McMaster Carr is a great source if you don't have a fastener store near you. I usually have fasteners I order within 2 to 3 days. They have a lot of specialty nuts too. Problem is sometimes some if it comes in larger quantities than you want to purchase.
