remove hood insulation 5lbs save and better cooling

Has anyone tried something similar? would love to hear about it.. from i come from it gets really hot in the summer engine would overheat after few races (limp mode) it gets on my nerves

Have you added the Boss radiator? I have not seen the thermal simulations but that tiger racing hood is the highest flowing hood out there that i've seen and would help more than removing the insulation.

Also Ford tests these cars in Death Valley and that is equally as hot as Oman but then again, there is no track in death valley!

you may need bigger electric fans too.
